Geography 120: Earth Systems II: Atmospheric Environment

The intent is to provide a basic understanding of the nature of the atmosphere and the processes acting in it.  We will consider both short-term (weather) phenomena and their synthesis into climate.  Physical principles and some mathematical manipulations will be highlighted as tools for understanding the complex climate system.
